Sabīnes darbi ir ļoti dažādi, katrs ar savu unikālo rokrakstu. “Femina” un “Pretpoli” piedāvā dziļas pārdomas par sabiedrības vērtībām, sievietes tēlu un cilvēka spēju pārkāpt fiziskos ierobežojumus, savukārt “Laika Nospiedumi” ir laikmetīgās gaisa dejas izrāde, kas izceļ ilgtspējības un vietējās vides nozīmi. Sabīne piedalījusies arī starptautiskā rezidencē “UMOJA” Tanzānijā, kur radījusi izrādi “Kiganja” un piedalījusies projektā “Faces to the Sea” Barselonā, sadarbojoties ar māksliniekiem no dažādām disciplīnām. Viņa arī pārstāv Latviju Nordic Street Art Network un piedalās ar to saistītos starptautiskos projektos. Katrs no šiem projektiem sniedz viņai jaunu mācību iespēju, kas palīdz attīstīt viņu kā mākslinieci un virzīt darbu tālāk.
Sabīne Neilande is a contemporary dance artist and choreographer from Latvia, whose work combines high physicality, movement research, and conceptuality. Her art reflects values such as human equality, ecology, sustainability, and green thinking, alongside themes that are deeply meaningful to her.
Sabīne’s works are very diverse, each with its own distinct style. “Femina” and “Polar Opposites” offer profound reflections on societal values, the role of women, and the human capacity to push physical boundaries, while “Footprints in Time” is an aerial contemporary dance performance that highlights sustainability and the significance of local environments. Sabīne also participated in the international residency “UMOJA” in Tanzania, where she co-created the performance “Kiganja”, and took part in “Faces to the Sea” in Barcelona, collaborating with artists from various disciplines. She also represents Latvia in the Nordic Street Art Network and participates in international projects associated with it. Each of these projects provides her with new learning opportunities, helping her grow as an artist and continue to push her work forward.
